The Serpentine have an exhibition of the Swedish artist Hilma af Klint's secret abstract paintings. A delightfully strange collection of paintings, the larger central room being the most captivating where you can see her strucking use of symbols and repeated motifs capturing a spiritual world as well as the beautiful brush marks of tempura on paper mounted onto canvas. Interesting to see another show (remember Betty Woodman from last week) of a female artist paving the way and influencing our contemporary aesthetic. On until 15th May
