This was the first time we've done Hobby Horse making and it was probably one of the best crafts we've ever done. The children were galloping about on them and they were so colourful... I hope we get to do more in future parties.
They each got given a blank empty horse's head shape (a bit like a sock). They really enjoyed stuffing the head with the newspaper. We helped them attach the stick and then they decorated. I had made all the little ears to stick on, they just chose their colour but the rest was completely down to them.
