Spinning tops are really easy to make. Cut a semi-circle out of paper and decorate. Find the middle of the straight edge and mark. Then attach the two sides to make a cone shape. Pop some blue tack in the inside of the cone at the point. Then squish a kebab stick in the middle. If you have a glue gun put a dollop of hot glue in the end instead of blue tack, then hold the kebab stick whilst it cools.
These are a great to party decoration/game. Great for kids parties but also adults too. Imagine these as DIY wedding favours on the reception table. Pick a coloured card to suit your wedding theme and decorate with patterns or symbols relevant to your day.
